Has Google jumped the shark? Search results don't seem as good as they used to be. Likely the business model is affecting results, among other party manipulations. We think the space is ripe for a new comer. Here is one that has a great design, familiar to ipod/mac people, even though the search algorithm is not as good as google:

As we tooled around the OC we noticed a few things. One is the Southern Orange County Donut Cartel, a string of donut shops in all the beach towns. OC now has a donut mogul. Another thing is the whacky business names we saw. Here are the ones we remember.

The Car D'jour is the black Range Rover Sport. This smallish and sporty SUV only gets 12mpg in the city; yikes! Driving through Laguna and Newport you literally see one of these every minute. I think we counted 5 in Javiers' parking lot alone.
