brave new worlds

ad is truly crawling. definition: ability to bring herself into another room by moving one knee and one hand in front of the other. she sits in the kitchen and looks back at us in the living room, cautious and aware that she is transforming her reality. she has a particular look for em only, as if to "check in" with him as she has these new experiences. sometimes it is full of confidence and her gaze meets his evenly; other times it is searching his face to know if she is alright. it is extremely endearing to me to watch my daughter increase her sense of self through her daddy's eyes. beautiful, beautiful moments I want to never forget.
