smooth

Nana time. Ad is attempting to eat gruel from a spoon, is sitting up on her own, rolling over both ways, and has her first couple teeth coming in.

The surf has been excellent, with variable swells from N and S, and all matter of wind. La Nina makes for good summer surf. Here is a nice and orderly small day out front.

Barn with extra paint on doors, dumpster, wall, pylon, Madonna with flowers, cut in half by light and dark planes with vague yin-yang pattern, curving car tracks hardly visible, Madonnas green grace spilling over into parking lot, dumpster aligned with edge of barn and asphalt and rear wall, cone almost aligned.

California is all about the car. There are lots of Hummers and lots of Prius, and everything in between. The vintage cars are especially fun. Em has always had a soft spot for this model Triumph.

With Ron and Tess in town we got to go out together. Nothing like going out to dinner and taking the beach to get there and back.

Dizz's As Is was the place. Old school Laguna. Would be a great home restaurant, but the prices are a bit steep for that. Fancy food cooked in comfortable ways. The menu leans French-comfort and the decor is Campy-Hollywood/Grandma/Garage Sale. Vermouth anyone?

Sarah brought bubbles; fun move. She patiently blew bubbles for Ad as the photographers barked orders regarding bubble height, distance, size, and trajectory.
