Another wave shot, but... look close, inside the curl there. That is a dog, a big dog, something the size of a big Lab, but hairier. He was a tourist dog, knowing nothing about surf, and he got stuck in the wrong spot. Fortunately, as you can see, the wave broke over him, but if he had gotten sucked up into the lip and gone over the falls... that could have been very bad, but just ended up being kinda funny. The dog had to drag itself up the beach, it was pretty worked over, but still willing to go after another stick.


We saw this heron fishing down at Agate Street.
