I asked Herb for the heads up on his next gig, and so there we were, dashing off from work on a Thursday evening, taking the ferry over to Bainbridge, and hitching a ride in Auds new mini cooper s (its no snail! that s car goes..) over to Port Townsend for a night of some jazz. It was a nice time, great music, a trio joined at times by a couple different singers and a trombonist.



Herb really seemed to be enjoying himself. There was a good crowd, very appreciative and knowledgeable about the tunes. The joint is called the Upstage, and they throw down a good pizza pie, so now you are in the know. Lucky us, and next time, lucky you.
