Katharine Dougherty, Tam and Deb Polansky. Deb and I met at UMass our Junior year. Katharine and Deb met in Jr High and then I met Kath when she and Deb were roommates in Boston about 10 years ago. Kath now lives in SF and Deb lives in Jamaica Plain. Deb is hilarious and so full of positive vibration, mon.

I went down to SF a couple of weekends ago to meet up with two of my friends from college who were escaping Boston and the kids for a few days. We had such a great time hanging out, eating the great food that is so readily found in the Bay Area, pedicures, massages, long walks and talks. It's wonderful to see good friends and pick up so easily wherever the last conversation dropped off, umm, 3 years ago...

Kristen Hughes from Dorchester, MA! Kdog and I met when I was a Senior at UMass. K gives it to you straight--from the heart. She is a great story teller and dancer.

Linda Keane and moi in Ballard at a lousy, yet expensive Italian joint. Linda lives in Seattle and I met her through a mutual BFF, Soula (we can't wait to see you in July, Soula!!). Linda is a former journalist gone home rebuilder. She asks the best questions and is totally inspirational as a mom to me.

These women have been my guides over the years and we have shared countless stories and laughter. They have made my life even more rich and wonderful!
