Dang good eatin
Never imagined we would eat as well as we did in Key West. Seven Fish was the best and classiest place we went to, and the reef jack fish that night was one of the best seafood meals I have had, but those tastefully decorated yuppie joints are everywhere in Seattle. More bang for the buck was offered at this Cuban food joint that reminded me of the Mexican food places in Tucson; cheap and good. The grilled snapper was just outstanding here both times Tam ordered it.
This is the breaded grouper... what a dumb order. I took the risk to get something different, but I might have well have said, "give me the old fish." It was good, but I ordered wrong. Those fried plantains on the plate with that garlic and onion dip in the back were excellent, and the rice and beans are lard-o-liscious, along with that sangria! If you go here, order the grilled snapper.

The cuban bread was excellent, and made for good sandwiches at this takeout window attached to the laundromat. -eh
