Why Blog?

As near as we can tell, blogs, vlogs, moblogs, slogs, etc., are really just webpages that people can create and publish very quickly. The word blog is a shortened version of 'web log' which is not much more than a diary on the web. Why are we doing a blog? Well, Em got a few complaints that the quality of the yahoo photo sight was not very good, which is true as the images are really not good enough to drop on your desktop, and Tam wanted a site where we could editorialize, post photos, links, and what-not. So here it is, LCD publishing at its finest!

Hello out there, Em here: I have a backlog of photos that did not make it to the Yahoo site so I will be doing a good bit of 'back-posting' here, such as photos of the wedding, visits by friends and relatives, etc. You can click on the photos here and get a larger version than you can at Yahoo, with far greater detail. So expect a few not-so-current posts for a while. I will still do large batch posts of trips and such if I can get the time; the new job is a time burner and probably the main reason why I have not been posting pics. The blog offers a quicker forum so that might help me get things out there more (ie, communicating). Please communicate back in your preferred medium if you can. Cheers, e
